West Side Moravian Church celebrates what could be called a traditional Moravian service which includes:
- Traditional hymns accompanied by organ and/or piano.
- Liturgy prayer.
- Prayers of the People.
- A variety of special music including Choir and Hand-bells.
- Children’s moment with a special message that speaks to all ages.
- Scripture readings.
- A meaningful message that is relevant to today’s society.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and on special occasions. West Side Moravian Church practices open communion. If you wish to receive communion please rise when the elements are served. Children are welcome to participate in communion, this is left to the discretion of the parents and in conversation with the pastor.
